THEATRE
“All the world is a stage…”
Theatre is my passion.
There is no other art form that can replicate what live theatre does in this world. Among my favorite moments are when the stage lights dim, the orchestra tunes, and the actors step onstage. Everything works together to unfold a story, live, right before your very eyes. There is an unique kind of magic when you get to experience a live play or a musical.
On a deeper level, I believe wholeheartedly that theatre is a power to bring people together and remind them of what we all share, what makes us human.
I fell head over heels in love with this art form when I was in elementary school, and ever since then I have been a part of the theatre community in any way I could be involved, both acting on stage and behind the scenes.
I have also been beyond fortunate to have had incredible arts and theatre educators in my own life, for whom I am beyond grateful. To this day, theatre and arts education continues to positively impact my life in a plethora of ways. From my own experience, I believe that theatre exemplifies and teaches empathy, communication, how to better understand other people’s experiences, being resilient, showing grace when faced with redirection, persistence when faced with challenges, professionalism, and SO much more.
I could talk all day about my love for theatre and its importance.
Below are examples of my work in theatre, both on-stage and behind the scenes. All of my acting and directing work can be found under the respective tabs above.
